for the wire,i made sure there was a nice crisp focus up front by setting it to macro wich auto blurred the further it went away. 
the other are just of a puffer magigger i found and decided to try and sillouette (how do you spell that one)?? but the top left hand corner has little pices floating away ( i blew on it) and made sue the focus was set to landscape so that things far away(the little fellas floatin away) showed up well

Silhouette is the spelling.
I REALLY like the top left image. The closeup out of focus with the individual seeds flying off. Very nice on that one!!
