road trip and paintings :)
These pictures were taken on my road trip for spring break. a couple of the images (at the beach) i played around with some art effects and got some cool results. The image of the smoke stack started out looking kinda like that simple one, i then altered the levels, burned, and swirled the sky for a creepy effect. the portrait of hanna started out just a regular picture i took candid and i then played around with her skin and the background, i wanted an almost cartoon look that was super subtle so i gave her eyes a plastic wrap and was happy with the results.

Canon Beach is so sweet. Looked nice.
Great shooting. Geez I love road trips, I could go into a boring story about one of my Oregon Coast road trips, but I doubt you want to hear it. :)
The tree image really jumps out and is impressive. The use of repetition is great in it as is the contrast of the blue vs. the orange colors in it.
The up-close portrait is nice as well. The effect on the eyeball is really eyecatching- get it? Eyeball, eyecatching, hahaha. Ahh, tough crowd.
Last one that I really noticed was the sandles image. Great job getting down for a different angle so the viewer has a different perspective on things. Color in it is fantastic, great job
